There are many benefits to buying a new construction home versus buying an existing home. Some people just like the idea of having a home that has not been lived in prior to them. The new construction homes are move-in ready, very clean, & oftentimes you can customize them with colors & upgrades of your preference. They usually have the more modern floor plans and designs and the new homes are often more energy efficient. You are more likely to have less maintenance the first couple of years in a new home because everything is new and most everything will be warrantied.  Many of the communities where they are building new homes have amenities for your family to enjoy such as pools, parks, and walking trails.

In the current market we are in right now, buying new construction can be especially beneficial. Home inventory is very low. Most new construction homes are priced at a non-negotiable, set price while existing homes are negotiable and much more likely to receive multiple offers which can drive the price much higher.
